Lincolnshire based SAFELINCS – one of the UK’s leading fire safety solutions providers- wanted to launch the EvacChute at a major London exhibition.
Providing rapid fire evacuation from buildings when other escape routes are blocked, the EvacChute consists of a frame fitted to the inside underneath the window and the chute, which contains an internal spiral, offering safe descent at a controlled speed.
THE BEST ACCESS SOLUTION: Safelincs needed a modified access tower that would fit within their stand space, be robust and stable enough for them attach the shute and allow visitors to test it.
It also had to provide sufficient space on landings for show visitors queue and talk to sales staff and look smart to compliment Safelincs quality profile.
THE HIGHEST SAFETY STANDARDS: UKSSH both designed the scaffold tower and obtained the required safety certificates. The design of the tower was modified to optimise use of the stand space and the final design erected at Safelincs prior to the exhibition so that installation of the wrap-around graphics and the EvacChute could be trialled before the exhibition.
DELIVERING NATIONWIDE: UKSSH attended the exhibition at Earls Court to ensure that the tower was erected quickly and safely. Working alongside a company which has “Safe” in its name meant that it was imperative .
