The flexibility to hire or buy your Haki temporary roof from UKSSH is well known, but an increasing number of customers who we supply roofs to are also choosing to hire, rather than purchase, the roof sheeting.

The answer is simple – as with every aspect of our business, we NEVER cut corners and only supply the best products: Whether that is only supplying genuine Haki or only supplying PowerPlas sheeting.

PowerPlas materials can withstand severe weather conditions and with welded joints which are stronger than the base fabric, can create gas-tight and moisture-tight seals. Used in roofing and scaffolding, they can create a safe, enclosed environment where work can continue uninterrupted.

In a containment environment, such as a dockside, they allow procedures such as shot-blasting to take place without debris leaving the site.

The sheeting, manufactured from a high quality PVC coated polyester scrim which meets stringent European flame retardant standards, is specially designed to fit the roof bay width of the Haki temporary roof.

The edges of the sheet are fitted with keder bead that fits into the aluminium extrusion mounted above the top cord of the truss. The ends of the sheet are formed into a pocket to allow the insertion of a tube for tensioning the sheet and internal pockets can be fitted to allow the sheet to fit different spans of roof.

Designed on AutoCAD or similar programmes and cut on a state of the art flatbed cutter to ensure consistent sizing, the sheets are all high frequency or heat welded to ensure that all seams are watertight.
