UKSSH’s HUGE STOCK LEVELS SAVE THE DAY
When MBM Scaffolding was faced with an “eleventh hour” need for 100 tonnes of Haki Universal Scaffolding, they knew that only UKSSH could meet the challenge.
Even the best companies are sometimes challenged by an unexpected turn of events – the skill then is to adapt quickly so that you don’t let your clients down … and to know who you can rely on to help you deliver your projects on time.
Less than 48 hours before a prestige project at Westwood Cross Shopping Centre in Broadstairs was due to commence, MBM Scaffolding learnt that the delivery that they had scheduled for the project wouldn’t be available.
Their response was to contact UKSSH - a company that had impressed them in the past for their customer service, stock levels and yard management.
Michael Worrell explains: “The problem arose at the eleventh hour: At 11.07 on the Monday, I contacted Gary Griffiths and asked whether they would be able to supply the first shipment of Haki Universal to Broadstairs two days later. It arrived on site at 9am on the Wednesday.
“At MBM we pride ourselves on meticulous planning and hitting deadlines, but inevitably sometimes hiccups occur – the skill then is having a network of suppliers who you can rely on to ensure that you can still deliver a seamless service.
“UKSSH once again proved to be a “one stop” solution to what could have been a major problem – not only did they rise to the immediate challenge of getting the correct materials to site on time, but they also had the stock levels to ensure that they could continue to supply genuine Haki components - some 100 tonnes - for the duration of the project.
